The former managers of Guinness Peat Group, an activist investor that once helped scupper the merger between the London Stock Exchange and Deutsche Börse, have returned with a new investment vehicle.

Worsley Investors, based in Mayfair, will be led by former Guinness Peat alumni Blake Nixon and Max Lesser, according to people familiar with the situation. It is understood the new firm will target small-cap UK firms.
