A legal tussle between Annington Homes, a property company owned by Guy Hands’ private equity firm Terra Firma, and the UK government has resulted in an application for judicial review by Annington being thrown out by the High Court in London.

Annington was seeking a judicial review of an attempt by the Ministry of Defence to compulsorily buy back military homes that it sold to Nomura Holdings, Hands’ previous firm, back in 1996.
