Guy Hands, currently one of the most embattled heads of private equity, has warned 2010 will not only be difficult for his firm but for the entire asset class.

In his chairman's letter for Terra Firma's annual report, which was out today, Hands addressed the difficult year that his firm has experienced, including its travails at UK music company EMI Group.
