The head of UK investment banking at Haitong Bank has left the role less than 18 months after joining to help drive the firm's expansion in London.

Christian Thun-Hohenstein was deregistered from Haitong Securities on the UK's Financial Services Register on May 2. The following day, the end of his directorship was logged at Companies House.
