More than half the world's venture capital firms plan to raise another fund before the end of next year, according to a study by VentureOne, the research firm, and accountants Ernst & Young.

The study showed 52% of venture capital firms worldwide hope to be fundraising next year, 48% of those in Europe and 53% of those in the US.
