Hannezo goes it alone

The former chief financial officer of Vivendi Universal, the beleaguered French media group, has decided to put his experience in helping run up more than €30bn ($35.6bn) of losses in two years to good use by launching his own corporate finance boutique.

Guillaume Hannezo, who left Vivendi in December, has launched FDR Finance, which, like Vivendi, will specialise in transatlantic M&A business.
