Camaraderie and resilience are the driving forces behind a sense of happiness at work for staff in the financial services industry, according to a survey run by the iOpener Institute for People and Performance in conjunction with Financial News.

Over 200 readers of Financial News responded to an online survey entitled 'Happiness at Work' last month. The results showed that while a year of dislocation in the global financial markets has taken its toll on levels of happiness in the workplace, particularly with organisation-level concerns, workers remain optimistic about their jobs at team level.
