US-based private markets fund of funds manager HarbourVest Partners has turned to the hedge fund industry for its new global head of investor relations.

The firm has hired James Kase, who was previously global head of investor relations for London-based fixed income focused hedge fund manager Capula Investment Management, where he divided his time between Greenwich, Connecticut and London.
