Harris Williams targets US buyers for German private equity

The boutique investment bank opens a Frankfurt office to try to bridge the gap between US strategic buyers and Germany’s buyout market

Investment banking boutique Harris Williams has opened an office in Frankfurt in an attempt to strengthen ties between US strategic buyers and Germany’s private equity market.

The firm said it has hired Jeffrey Perkins from DC Advisory, a unit of Daiwa Capital Markets, as a managing director to lead the German office. Perkins oversaw cross-border deals at DC Advisory.
