Havas rejects Bolloré's call for board seats

Havas, the French advertising agency, has rejected a request from Vincent Bolloré, its largest shareholder, for four seats on its board of directors. A showdown is set for the firm's annual general meeting on June 9.

Last Friday Bolloré's investment vehicle, Bolloré Médias Investissements, requested seats for him and three of his associates. The vehicle owns 20% of Havas shares.
