Havas, the French advertising group looks set to make Vincent Bolloré, the French corporate raider, wait almost seven months before he can push to join the board.

Alain de Pouzilhac, chairman and chief executive of Havas, this week failed to announce the extraordinary shareholders' meeting which had been widely expected to appoint new directors.
