Hawkpoint Partners, a corporate finance boutique headquartered in London, has appointed a senior Lazard banker as managing director in the firm's Paris office as part of a push into France.

Edouard Debost joins Hawkpoint from Lazard, where he spent the past decade in the corporate finance division of the bank's Paris office. Prior to that Debost, 40, worked at Arthur Andersen.
