Hawkpoint Partners, the UK corporate finance advisory firm, has opened a Paris office as the first step of its European expansion.

Hawkpoint, which previously only had one office and that was in London, has chosen Bertrand de Saint Remy to head the new office. The vice-chairman joined Hawkpoint in London in September from Credit Agricole Indosuez to develop the French, Benelux and Swiss operations.
