Hector Sants quits FSA

Chief executive of the FSA, Hector Sants, who was also chief executive designate of the PRA, is to step down from the UK regulator

Hector Sants, the chief executive of the UK Financial Services Authority, is to step down from the regulator at the end of June and will also relinquish his post at the head of its replacement the Prudential Regulation Authority.

Sants had been chief executive-designate of the PRA, the new UK authority set up by the Coalition government to oversee banking rules from next year.
