The co-founder and chairman of hedge fund giant Marshall Wace, Sir Paul Marshall, tweeted that the pro-Trump woman killed by authorities in Washington amounted to "cold-blooded murder" hours after a mob of thousands stormed the US Capitol.
The 6 January storming of the building, which saw four people lose their lives, brought a temporary halt to the formal confirmation of the president's election defeat.
