Hedge fund managers are bearish on their own businesses with more than two-thirds expecting investors to either withdraw assets or, at best, allocate no more in the second half of this year, according to a recent poll.

The sentiment comes despite $25bn in net inflows to hedge funds in the first half of 2017. Over 2016, investors pulled a net $110bn from the sector.
