GlobeOp Financial Services, the hedge fund service provider, has contracted Radianz, the communications joint venture between Reuters and Equant, to manage secure network access to its middle- and back-office management services.

The deal is the latest in a series for Radianz, expanding the range of services that it carries on its RadianzNet IP network infrastructure. Last week, Radianz made a deal with Arcontech, a real-time market data specialist, to offer its products and services over the Radianz network. It also recently did a deal with EquiLend, the securities lending system, to offer its users access via the RadianzNet internet-based extranet. Infotec, the Swiss real-time information provider, recently signed a three-year contract to use RadianzNet.
