Barclays: Hedge funds’ net inflows to hit $10bn

The tide is turning, with hedge fund managers now willing to create new products and offer investors fee breaks

Barclays: Hedge funds’ net inflows to hit $10bn

Hedge funds will see net inflows of $10 billion in 2017 - a turnaround from the industry's first year of net outflows since the crisis.

Investors have been pulling more money than they have been investing in hedge funds since the third quarter of 2015 amid complaints of poor performance relative to benchmarks and high fees. This resulted in net outflows of $70 billion in 2016, according to a report from Barclays.
