Investor list emerges in Henderson dispute

The names of pension funds involved in a dispute over a loss-making infrastructure fund come to light

The names of some of the 30 pension funds involved in a dispute with Henderson Global Investors over a £350m paper loss suffered by one of its infrastructure funds, have begun to emerge.

The investors in the troubled Henderson fund include the pension schemes for aerospace group BAE Systems; healthcare provider Bupa; plastics manufacturer Fenner; the electricity groups Magnox and Scottish & Southern Energy; packaging group Smurfit Kappa, and retailer Tesco, according to sources close to the situation.
