Asset manager Henderson Global Investors aims to launch three hedge funds in the next few months, after one of its European managers more than doubled his money this year.

Donald Pepper, Henderson's head of hedge funds, said the firm hoped to open funds focused on global emerging markets, large-cap European equities and global macro, but not before the end of this year. Pepper told Financial News: "We are looking to launch three funds, but not immediately."
