Henderson profits drop by 8%

Henderson Global Investors, part of Australia's AMP insurance group, suffered an 8% fall in operating profits to A$192m (€90.2m) in 2002.

However, the drop is less than many of Henderson's rivals. AMP said: "Strict cost control resulted in only a slight increase in the cost to income ratio to 69%."
