Newton Investment Management has bought Henderson Private Asset Management, the private clients and charities asset management business of Henderson Global Investors, for an undisclosed sum.

Henderson's niche business manages approximately £930m (€1.5bn) on behalf of more than 1,000 high net worth individuals, private trusts and charities. All Henderson staff will transfer to Newton Private Investment Management on completion of the deal in August.
