Partners at Herbert Smith Freehills and Kramer Levin have voted to approve a merger between the pair which will create a $2bn revenue law firm.

Anglo-Australian firm HSF and US firm Kramer Levin struck a tie-up deal in November to forge a law firm with more than 2,700 lawyers.
