Here’s how Twitter could toss Trump at the end of his presidency

US President Donald Trump faces losing access to his favourite way to communicate with voters, as his actions during an invasion of the US Capitol by his supporters has put his account in the firing line for Twitter’s final strike policy.

Following a series of social media posts in which Trump appeared to express support for protesters that were rioting outside and inside the building, his accounts were temporarily suspended by Twitter and Facebook for between 12 and 24 hours.
