The booming exchange traded funds sector continues to pull in huge sums of new money from investors, with global assets reaching an all-time high of almost $9.4trn at the end of June.

Actively managed ETFs are among those products experiencing the fastest growth, gathering $82.2bn from investors during the first half of the year, according to data from consultancy ETFGI.
