Hermes Private Equity has completed its new team with hire of Simon Jennings from UBS, and is set to complete its first deal by the end of the year.

Rod Selkirk was hired from Bridgepoint last year to set the business up and hire a team of four to join him and director Chris Clark. Earlier this year he hired Shane Feeney from Deutsche Bank's Morgan Grenfell Private Equity, Gillian Brown from Merrill Lynch Investment Management, and Justin Ward from CVC Capital Partners.
