Hermes Investment Management has named the former investment chief of credit specialist Cairn Capital as its new head of fixed income.

Andrew Jackson will be responsible for leading the development of Hermes' credit and direct lending investment teams and building its multi-asset credit offering, according to a statement today. He will report to head of investment Eoin Murray and will be part of the Hermes Strategy Group.
