Hermes sells office supplier to ABN buyout arm

The buyout arm of Dutch bank ABN Amro has taken a majority stake in OyezStraker, a UK office supplier, paying former owner Hermes Private Equity three times its original investment.

Mid-market buyout firm Hermes Private Equity has sold its majority stake to ABN in a deal worth £163m (€239m). The firm will retain a 5% minority stake and reinvest £7.8m in the company, which is now in private equity hands for the third time.
