Hermes Investment Management has upped its presence in continental Europe with the opening of new offices in Germany and Denmark, just weeks before the UK is set to leave the trading bloc.

The news comes two months after the London-headquartered asset manager, which looks after €37.3bn, announced it was setting up a subsidiary in Ireland as part of its Brexit plans.
