Hermes’ sustainable-investment chief quits

Andrew Parry, formerly head of equities at the UK fund manager, is pursuing a ‘new opportunity’

After a decade at Hermes Investment Management, Andrew Parry, the UK group’s head of sustainable investing, has decided to leave the role.

Parry was the chief executive and co-head of investment for Hermes European Equities (formerly known as Hermes Sourcecap) until 2014. He was then made overall head of equities, and given responsibility for developing the fund manager’s impact-investing capabilities in 2016, before taking on his latest role.
