Hewitt Associates, the investment consultancy, has promoted Zsolt Szelecki to a new role as leader of its European emerging markets group. Szelecki will co-ordinate the firm's activities in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden and Greece.

He will also be responsible for developing the firm's presence in other emerging European markets such as Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic states and the Balkans.
