Hewitt Associates has poached top consultant Zuhair Mohammed from rival investment consultant PSolve and added two others to its payroll as part of an effort to rebuild its fortunes following a series of defections.

Mohammed joined PSolve, generally viewed as an up-and-coming firm, from Aon Consulting in 2005. Hewitt has agreed to make him a senior consultant.
