High-frequency trading firms KCG Holdings and Jump Trading want to build a giant communications mast in rural England, a mile away from a rival's planned tower that has already drawn objection from local residents.

New Line Networks, a telecommunications company owned by KCG and Jump, set up a website on February 19 revealing plans to submit an application for a 305-metre-high radio mast in Richborough, Kent, to Dover District Council.
