High net worths regain their risk appetite

High net worth individuals, with liquid assets over $1m, are becoming more confident about investing in alternatives and riskier investments, as the economic outlook brightens.

Private banks are seeing a recovery of risk appetite amongst their clients with the number of private banks planning to increase their allocation to alternative assets in the next 12 months jumping to three quarters, up from 42% last year, according to research by Hotbed, a venture capital startup.
