Stephen Jen, one of Europe’s best-known currency analysts, has re-emerged a month after quitting Morgan Stanley in a senior role at a London hedge fund whose staff includes a former model and two ex-French national swimmers.

Jen, who a source familiar with his plans told Financial News/Wealth Bulletin last month was heading to a buyside role, is to join BlueGold Capital Management, a London-based commodities hedge fund that focuses on oil derivatives trading, according to its website.
