High-yield bankers leave Mizuho

The Japanese bank has struggled to make headway in the sub-investment grade bond market

Two members of the four-strong team hired by Mizuho to build a European high-yield bond business have left the bank.

Jermaine Jarrett, who joined the Japanese firm in November 2010 as head of high-yield syndicate and capital markets, left last month. Peter Din, who was hired as a director in December 2010 to work on European high-yield research, left in June.
