SNB's Hildebrand won't quit over currency dealings

Swiss National Bank president Philipp Hildebrand has denied that he will resign, as he attempts to deflect mounting criticism of currency trades he and his wife made. Admitting that the affair has raised ethical questions, Hildebrand revealed proposals to increase transparency in financial dealings by top officials at the SNB. He also claimed that he has donated a large sum to charity as a form of compensation for the profits made by his wife on the foreign exchange dealings.
