Hiorns quits Taylor-Young

Brennan Hiorns has quit as chief investment officer at Taylor-Young Investment Management to become managing director of Teather & Greenwood's private client department.

Hiorns, 56, has been with Taylor-Young for three years, exercising overall control of investments and clients. Taylor-Young's strong belief in technology stocks has produced excellent performance numbers throughout the period, although it gave up some ground after tech stocks tumbled in early March.
