A medieval chateau in France's Dordogne region that was once the seat of the Order of the Knights Templar is being marketed for €5.4m.

Château de La Jarthe includes 100 hectares of woodlands, 18 bedrooms, a library, atelier, chapel and five reception rooms. It is built around a classic central courtyard surrounded by crenulated ramparts and ivy-covered towers.
