Hoare Govett wins second FTSE client in three months

Hoare Govett, the broking arm of ABN Amro, has been appointed joint broker to Whitbread, the UK hotels and leisure group, its second FTSE 100 client win in three months.

Whitbread, capitalised at £2.2bn (€3.2bn), is Hoare Govett's 14th broking mandate win this year and means the broker advises just over a quarter of the FTSE 100, which represents the largest companies in the UK.
