Tom Hayes is set to be released from prison on 29 January, after serving more than five years for rigging the Libor benchmark.

The former UBS and Citigroup trader was convicted in 2015 of rigging the London interbank offered rate, a benchmark that helps to determine interest rates on mortgages and big corporate loans.
