How Primark will fit into Thomson

The lack of detail from the two firms shows the speed at which the deal was pushed through

Twenty senior managers from Canadian conglomerate Thomson Financial and its new acquisition, Primark, will meet this week at a summit in Boston. A tough series of negotiations lies ahead of them as they attempt to start thrashing out the details of how their product lines will be integrated. Both are comprehensive and have received heavy investment.

Questions loom over whether Primark's products will be integrated into Thomson's, run as separate products or be discontinued.
