The largest players in the private equity world have been casting their nets far and wide, launching anything from small-cap funds to credit and real estate strategies. In this competitive environment, a mid-sized Boston-based firm, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018, is happy to focus on a single global vehicle.
