HSBC has continued its hiring spree with the appointments of Rupert Robson and Anthony Bernbaum.

Robson has been named global co-head of the financial institutions group (FIG). He was previously at Citigroup, where he was a managing director and headed the European insurance sector. Robson, who starts this week, will report to John Studzinski and Stuart Gulliver, co-heads of corporate and investment banking (CIBM).
