HSBC adds private equity boss in Americas push

HSBC has appointed a new head of its team serving private equity clients in the US, where it is pushing to win more advisory work on mergers and acquisitions.

Mark Epley has joined as head of HSBC's financial sponsors group — which works with private equity firms on M&A and capital markets transactions — in the Americas, according to a statement.
