HSBC bolsters research with Morgan Stanley's Vaudry

HSBC has hired Robert Vaudry from Morgan Stanley to head its global companies and sectors research eight months after it overhauled its equities business.

Vaudry was most recently head of Asia-Pacific and Japan research at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. Morgan Stanley declined to comment on Vaudry's departure and a replacement for him.
