HSBC CCF, the newly created French investment banking business following HSBC's acquisition of Credit Commercial de France, has completed its first sizeable capital markets deal.
The firm is joint bookrunner with Société Générale on the €260m ($245.78m) convertible bond issue launched Thursday morning by Remy Cointreau, the French drinks company. The deal is the latest in a steady stream of European equity-linked deals which have already laid the groundwork for a record year for equity-linked issuance in 2001.
