HSBC chief linked to top job at Swip

The UK chief executive of HSBC Investments, HSBC's asset management group, has resigned, sparking speculation that he will take the top job at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.

Dean Buckley resigned and left HSBC on Friday October 19, according to the bank. Chief operating officer Simeon Brown has been appointed interim chief executive for the UK.
