HSBC has filled a gap at the top of its European corporate credit trading business, hiring a former JP Morgan managing director to lead its high-grade trading team, according to a memo sent to staff on October 3.
Andrew Sinfield, who has spent the past 18 months running his own investment fund, will lead the division and will report to Hussein Dbouk, the bank's head of investment-grade, CDS and high-yield credit trading in Europe.
