HSBC hires ex-Goldman banker to lead European healthcare

The UK bank adds another senior figure to its growing corporate advisory franchise

UK bank HSBC has hired a former head of European healthcare at Goldman Sachs to lead its healthcare practice.

Guy Slimmon, a managing director at Goldman Sachs, left the bank at the end of September, according to the UK Financial Services Register. He will be joining HSBC as managing director. HSBC confirmed the move.
